Advanced Password Testing

Cieľom tejto diplomovej práce je získať poznatky v oblasti zabezpečenia hesiel a následne ich využiť pri tvorbe nástroja na kontrolu hesiel. Dôraz je kladený hlavne na analýzu hádania hesiel. V tejto práci sú analyzované rôzne metódy hádania hesiel a následne porovnávané s výsledkami získanými Parishom. Potom používame vygenerované heslá od hádačov hesiel na vytvorenie slabého súboru údajov, ktorý analyzujeme rôznymi metódami. Poznatky získané z analýzy sa použijú na vytvorenie reaktívnej a proaktívnej kontroly hesiel. V závere práce je otestovaná a vyhodnotená účinnosť vytvorených hádačov hesiel.

Analysis of security access to internet banking via mobile devices

The objective of this thesis is to analyze and review external security of mobile applications providing mobile banking on Android operating system. The theoretical section is aimed to describe the prerequisites for security analysis and the technological design of security for this kind of applications. Related practical section is based on the data acquired by the author in which the technological security is examined. Products of the companies Air Bank, a.s. and Moneta Money Bank, a.s. were selected to be examined in the practical section. These two companies are sample of the current Czech bank market. The examined level of security of both of the applications and their comparison are covered in the conclusion of the thesis.
E-safety knowledge and skills of civil service employees

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the issue of esafety related knowledge and habits of people working in civil service. I focused on protection against malware, phishing and data loss. Next, I examined the habits when working with security passwords and habits when working with electronic mail. I approached the issue at hand using a questionnaire aimed to find out whether civil servants are capable of protecting themselves against cyber threats. Selected problem I solved using a questionnaire, which I investigated whether civil servants are able to protect against computer threats. The results were processed using statistical methods chi-square statistic, Student t-test and Simple analysis of variance. I found the factors that influence the behavior and habits of the respondents. It is the strength of the password they use to access the applications with sensitive data and meeting with the malware infection. Here it was found the most addictions confirmed. Of the personality factors most influences the behavior of respondents education and then followed by sex.
Confidential Information Storage for Windows Mobile System

Confidential information such as passwords, cryptographic keys, certificates, etc. are used every day on various places. Mobile phone can be a good storage for such informations, but is necessary to ensure data security. Main goal of this project is to create a program for Windows Mobile phones which will keep all the informations in one place protected by password. Designed program lets user to store passwords, cryptographic keys, various files, important contacts, credit card numbers, etc. Some of the stored informations can be downloaded from remote server via FTP protocol or from smart card. It is also possible that two clients will synchronize their informations via Network and other usefull functions.

The purpose of this thesis is to describe and compare password managers for users and small teams on different software and hardware platforms. It deals with the problem area of passwords in general, user habits, and comfort and password quality. It further introduces and categorizes password managers and compares a few of them by several criteria, from security -- used encryption and its cryptanalysis, user protection from malware -- through usability -- the abilities and ease of use of the tool, its integration with applications and the operating system -- up to teamwork enhancements -- synchronization abilities and sharing of both single passwords and password databases.
Password Management Systems

The goal is to describe and compare password management utilities and applications for individuals or small teams. Examples of such applications are KeePass, Password Safe, CodeWallet Pro and eWallet. On-line password managers like LastPass or RoboForm are another group of applications. Support for synchronization, sharing passwords in a team or protection against keyloggers (when filling in automatically) may also be included in the criteria.
